To be honest I'm not one who would willingly pick up anything to do with Shakespeare, there's too many bad school memories for me. After reading this alternative take on The Tempest I have to admit I'm actually thinking about it just to see which points of this book are taken from the original story.

I loved this book, it was soo funny at times that I was receiving strange looks from the people at the bus stop! I loved the mystery of who was the bad guy, although my first guess was right :D yey me! I love being right. The pranks where definitely a highlight of this book, I was grinning like a fool through those chapters. 

All the characters where wonderfully written. Especially Miranda, who I wouldn't have liked if in another novel, won her way into my heart. Yeah she seems to have everyone wrapped around her little finger and is a little cocky but the way its written you end up falling in love with her without even realising it. The whole Miranda & Caleb thing was a little predictable to me, I could see it coming a mile away. But all their little confrontations had me literally laughing out loud.

Like I said before, I've never read The Tempest but from other reviews I've looked at it seems that this book is a brilliant rendition of the original. Its so beautifully written that even though you know what's going to happen there's still enough twists, turns and laughter in there to keep you on the edge of your seat.

This is a fun & enjoyable read that I think everyone should grab a copy of. I'm so happy I've received the second one in this series to review. 

This is a must read!
