City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare

Series: The Mortal Instruments (5)

Kindle Edition, May 8 2012, 534 pages
Goodreads | Amazon UK | Amazon US

Jace is now a servant of evil, bound for all eternity to Sebastian. Only a small band of Shadowhunters believe he can be saved. To do this they must defy the Clave. And they must act without Clary. For Clary is playing a dangerous game utterly alone. The price of losing is not just her own life, but Jace's soul. Clary is willing to do anything for Jace, but can she still trust him? Or is he truly lost? What price is too high to pay, even for love?

My thoughts
Okay so now I've finally finished this book all I've got to say is its AMAZINGGG!! I'm so much of a Cassandra Clare fan after reading this series. I swear to god she's awesome I want to lock myself up in a room with her and have her tell me loads of stories.

Anyways this book is brilliant it keeps you thinking all the way through wondering what will happen. Like where's Jace? Who is Jace? Is he even Jace? The thing I love about Cassandra Clare is that even though the good guys always win, she always gives the bad guys a little win as well just to keep it interesting. I've got to say though that Clary is starting to bug me after 5 books. She's a little too wingy for me now. I mean at first it was marvellous, she was in love, there wasn't anything she wouldn't do for her lovely Jace. But now its just like dude seriously get over yourself you create most of the problems yourself just suck it up and be happy with what you've got. Besides that though this book, like I said before, is effing awesome I swear I regret not reading this series before.
I advise anyone that hasn't yet started on these books , to do so immediately. You will not regret it :)
